Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A
PRISON MINISTRY SUNDAY will be celebrated on 16th August
- 9th August is celebrated as Vianney Sunday in honour of St. John Marie Vianney, patron saint of the Diocesan Priests. All are requested to pray for priest throughout the world. The collection made today will be sent to the Clergy Home. Kindly be generous in supporting our priests.
- The Ladies Sodality is organising the Triduum Masses in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption on 12th & 13th August in Marathi and on 14th August in English at 5:30 pm. The Feast Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on 15th August.
- 15th August is the Feast of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day of India. Bishop Stephen Fernandes will be celebrating the 9:30am Mass. Masses on Saturday, 15th August, will be at 7:00 am in Marathi, and 8:15 am, 9:30 am and 7:00pm in English.
- Marian FAM in collaboration with the Sports Committee is organising ‘Baarish Hungama 2026’ on 15th August from 10:30 am onwards on the Church Ground. For further details contact the Marian FAM members at the church porch.
- The Discipleship Program for the year 2026-2027 will commence from Sunday, 16th August at St. Anthony’s School, Vakola. For further details look up the poster put on the Notice Board.
- The next Pre-Baptism Course will be held on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th August. Couples expecting a child in the next six months, kindly register your names in the Parish Office by Saturday, 22nd August.
- The OLEP Sports Committee will be issuing ID cards for Catholic parishioners of our Parish to enter/play on the Church grounds. The forms will be available in the Parish Office. The last date for submission of the forms will be 11th September 2026.
- Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 93,156/-
OCWF collection amounted to Rs. 4,32,673/-
