TWENTIETH Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A
JUSTICE SUNDAY will be celebrated on 23rd August
- 16th August is celebrated as Prison Ministry Sunday in the Archdiocese of Bombay. Envelopes will be distributed at all Masses. A box marked ‘Prison Ministry’ is placed in the church, kindly drop your envelopes in the box. For further details look up the notice board.
- Novena in preparation for the feast of the “Nativity of Our Blessed Virgin Mary” begins from Sunday, 30th August. Novena Mass will be at 7 pm on weekdays and at 8:15 am on Sunday. Parents are requested to encourage their children to attend the Novena.
- During the Nativity Novena from 30th August to 07th September St. Anthony’s, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and Our Lady of Egypt Novena will be recited only in the morning.
- The next Pre-Baptism Course will be held on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th August. Couples expecting a child in the next six months, kindly register your names in the Parish Office by Saturday, 22nd August.
- Kripa Medical Dispensary is holding a Medical Camp from Monday, 24th August to Friday 11th Sept. from 8 am to 4 pm for Dental, Eye, General and Blood Test. For further details please refer to the banner. Parishioners are urged to avail of this special facility.
- The OLEP Sports Committee will be issuing ID cards for Catholic parishioners of our Parish to enter/play on the Church grounds. The forms will be available in the Parish Office. The last date for submission of the forms will be 11th September.
- Vianney Sunday Collection amounted to Rs. 1,33,868/-. This collection will be sent to the Clergy Home. God bless you all for your generosity.
