15th December, 2024 – 3rd Sunday of Advent
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Dr. Fr. Gavin Lopes, Professor of Systematic Theology at the Goregaon Seminary will be conducting a ‘CHRISTIAN MEDITATION’ Advent programme, on Sunday 15th December from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm in our church. All are invited to attend.
- Christmas Confessions will be held on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Church. There will be a break from 6:45 PM to 7:30 PM for evening Mass. Confessions will resume after Mass. Guest priest will be available on all three days.
- Carol Singing will be conducted on 21st, 22nd & 23rd December on the tank.
- Christmas Eve Mass will be held on 24th December, on the church ground. Carol singing at 10:30 pm followed by Mass at 11:00 pm.
- Masses on 25th December will be at 7am, 8:15am and 9:30am. There will be no evening Mass. All Masses will be in English.
- Those wishing to book a Niche are requested to submit their applications in the Parish Office. Only 5 niches will be allotted this year. The decision of the Niche Committee will be final and binding. Last date for receiving applications is 10th January 2025.
- Last day for Sunday School is 15th December. Sunday School will reopen on 5th January 2025 with Mass at 8:15 am.
- Those wishing to put up Food stalls for “Egyptian Family Nites 2025” on 1st & 2nd February on the church grounds, can collect the forms from the Parish Office from 16th December and submit it back by 10th January.
- All those who would like to purchase a copy of the Christmas Special Examiner can contact the Examiner representative after all Masses at the church porch.
- Centre for Social Action is driving a Campaign against Hunger and Disease. Donation envelopes are kept in the Church and Parish Office. Kindly return the envelopes by the first week of January-2025. Please look up the notice board for further details.
- ‘Christmas Carnival 2024’ has been organised by the youth of the Vakola- Kalina Welfare Association on Sunday, 22nd December from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm starting from St. Anthony’s Church Ground.
- OCWF Collection for the month of November amounted to Rs. 3,18,684/- and last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 64,393/-. God bless you for your generosity.
