09th December 2024 – SOLEMNITY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
- Christmas Confessions will be held on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Church. There will be a break from 6:45 PM to 7:30 PM for evening Mass. Confessions will resume after Mass. Guest priest will be available on all three days. Requesting the parishioners not to wait for the last day for Confessions.
- Dr. Fr. Gavin Lopes, Professor of Systematic Theology at the Goregaon Seminary will be conducting a ‘CHRISTIAN MEDITATION’ Advent programme, on Sunday 15th December from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm in our church. All are invited to attend.
- Parish Calendars for the year 2025 will be distributed by the SCC Coordinators/Animators. Each family will be given one calendar
- Last day for Sunday School is 15th December. Sunday School will reopen on 5th January 2025 with Mass at 8:15 am.
- The College Gate will be closed for a week due to the ongoing BMC work. Kindly note parking will not be available on the College side.
- Our Lady of Egypt Parish Feast will be celebrated on Saturday 01st February and Sunday, 02nd February. The theme for the Parish feast will be, “Embracing today, Believing in Tomorrow”. We invite our parishioners to participate in the logo design competition for the Parish Feast. Kindly look up the Notice Board for Rules and Regulations for this competition. The last date to submit your logo is 18th December.
- Centre for Social Action is driving a Campaign against Hunger and Disease. Donation envelopes are kept in the Church and Parish Office. Kindly return the envelopes by the first week of January-2025. Please look up the notice board for further details.
- The youth of St. Anthony’s Vakola is organising a 2-day fete, Yuva Fiesta: The Winter Wonderland on 28th & 29th December. Kindly refer to the Notice Board for further details.
- Last Sunday’s Collection amounted to Rs. 83,400/-. We thank you for your generosity.
