Twenty- Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A

  1. The members of Christian Life Community (CLC) Konkani Group are conducting the Novena and Rosary in honour of Our Lady of Fatima in Konkani from 5th October to 13th October at 5:45 PM in the church. Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 14th October at 5:00 PM in Konkani. All are cordially invited.
  2. As Stewards of God’s creation and to encourage eco-friendly living all SCCs are invited to organize and participate in an Eco Activity in their own SCCs anytime between 5th October 2026 to 10th January 2027. Communities can undertake any creative environmental initiative. Communities are requested to submit the description of the activity conducted before 16th Jan 2027. The most creative and impactful eco activity will receive a prize during our Parish Feast celebration. More details will be circulated through the PPC members
  3. The Marian FAM have put up a Genesis Question Bank Challenge on their MYG notice board. To participate, you need to pick up the answer sheets provided right below the notice board and write down your answers and drop them into the designated box beside the board latest by Thursday, 8th October. All parishioners who get all 200 answers right will have their names proudly displayed on the board next Sunday.
  4. Family Cell invites all married couples who celebrate their wedding anniversaries in the month of July, August, September and October to renew their marriage vows at the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday, 11th October.
  5. The OLEP Goldies Senior Citizen Association and The Hope & Life Association invites you to another programme “Golden Memories & Silver Strands” (in collaboration with the Marian FAM) followed by a preventive health care programme on measures of healthy living, conducted by Fr. Rocky Banz on Sunday, 11th October from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the College Hall. Kindly register with a contribution of Rs. 50/- per person at the Registration desk or at the Parish Office by Thursday, 8th October.
  6. The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary will be commemorated on Sunday, 11th October. Please join the Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm in church, followed by Mass at 6:30 pm. After Mass there will be candlelight procession around the parish bearing the statue of Our Lady. Please bring a candle and come for the procession with your family.
  7. A program titled STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY (Mind, Body & Soul), will be held on Sunday, 18th October from 10:15 am to 1:00pm in the Community Hall. Fr. Allwyn Misquitta and Dr. Cecilia will be the resource person for this session. For registration, please refer to the banner.
  8. Missionary Families of Christ are organising a Christian Life Seminar – ‘Rooted in Love’ on Sunday, 18th October, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Church Vakola. All are invited.
  9. The OLEP Sports Committee in Collaboration with the Marian FAM are organizing “Saints and Strikers” Carrom Singles and Doubles Tournament, happening on the occasion of All Saints Day, 1st November, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the College Hall. This tournament is open to all age groups.   10. Monday, 02nd November is All Souls Day. Kindly drop the Mass intention envelopes in the box marked “All Souls Day” placed in the church by 31st October.
  11. Marian Morning Stars will be having the Vacation Bible Joy programme – VBJ from 9th Nov to 14th Nov from 10:00 AM to12:30 PM. The registration form will be available in the Parish Office and MMS teachers. Registration amount is Rs. 100/-. Please encourage your children to attend the VBJ programme.
  12. OCWF Envelopes for the month of October will be distributed today. Please drop your envelopes duly filled with all details, in the box marked “OLEP Community Welfare Fund
  13. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 87,642/-. We thank you for your generosity.
