Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A
Monday 14th September Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
- We thank the Sunday School teachers for organizing the Nativity Novena. A big thank you to all parents for sending your children and encouraging them to participate actively in the Novena. We would also like to thank all donors for sponsoring snacks for the children during the Novena & Feast Day.
- We thank our parishioners for their generous love offerings during the Nativity Novena. These offerings will be sent to Mother Teresa Home for the Destitute (Prem Daan), Airoli.
- The Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows will be commemorated on Sunday, 13th September at the 6.30 pm Mass, after which there will be a short procession around the church. The statue of Our Lady of Sorrows will be available for veneration in the church from Sunday 13th Sept till Tuesday 15th Sept.
- The Catholic Church joins all Christians in the celebration of the Season of Creation, which has begun on 1st September and will end on 04th October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of Ecology. The theme for this year is ‘Living Water’. The 9:30 AM Mass on 20th September will be celebrated as the Mass for Care of Creation. An Eco Activity, to pledge our commitment towards creation will be announced in the coming weeks.
- In the month of October, the statue of Our Lady goes around the parish – house to house. All Coordinators who want to take the statue, should submit their requests in writing to the Parish Office.
- The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, 14th September.
- Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 69,044/-. God bless you all for your generosity.
