ANNOUNCEMENTS

Twenty- First Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A

  1. Announcements for the feast of the “Nativity of Our Blessed Virgin Mary”:
    • Novena begins from Sunday, 30th August to 7th September. Novena Mass will be at 7 pm on weekdays and at 8:15 am on Sunday. The Novena themes and offering details are displayed on the Church Notice Board. Parents are requested to encourage their children to attend the Novena.
    • Parishioners can voluntarily offer items as per the list put up on the Notice Board. All are requested to place the offerings before or after Mass only.
    • During the Nativity Novena from 30th August to 07th September St. Anthony’s, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and Our Lady of Egypt Novena’s will be recited only in the morning.
    • Parishioners interested in sponsoring sweets to be distributed to children during the Novena days can contact Fr. Amol or the Parish Office.
  2. Our Parish will be organising the Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica on Saturday, 12th September. The procession will begin at 4:30 am from the church. Mass will be celebrated at the Mount Mary Basilica at 7:30 AM. Parishioners intending to participate please register in the Parish Office by Wednesday, 9th September.
  3. The Rose of Sharon Prayer Group is organising a one-day retreat for our parishioners on Monday, 14th September from 9 am to 5 pm. For registration kindly contact the Rose of Sharon Prayer Group Members at the church porch. The registration fee for the retreat is Rs.100/-.
  4. Kripa Medical Dispensary is holding a Medical Camp from 24th August to 11th September from 8 am to 4 pm for Dental, Eye, General and Blood Test. For further details please refer to the banner in the Church compound. Parishioners are urged to avail of these special facilities.
  5. The Bombay Jesuit Youth is organizing a full day youth program, MINI MAGIS, on Sunday, 30th August from 8 am to 6 pm at Don Bosco, Kurla. All parish youth are encouraged to participate. For more details, please check the poster on the Church notice board.
  6. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 1,02,043/-. God bless you all for your generosity.
