ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A

  1. Archbishop John Rodrigues has appointed Ms. Bernadette D’Aguiar as the Principal of St. Mary’s High School and Junior College. We wish her all the best in her role as Principal.
  2. The Senior Citizens and HOPE & LIFE members will be celebrating ‘Grandparents Day & The Day for the Elderly’ on Sunday, 26th July, at 10:45 am onwards in the College Hall.
  3. Novena in honour of Our Lady of Assumption, organised by the Ladies Sodality begins on 06th August at 6:00 pm from Monday to Saturday and at 5:15 pm on Sunday in the church.
    The Triduum Masses in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption will be celebrated on 12th Aug & 13th August in Marathi and 14th Aug in English at 5:30 pm. The Feast Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on 15th August.
  4. 07th August is the First Friday of the month. Holy Half Hour will be conducted at 6:30pm by Divine Mercy Group, followed by Mass at 7 pm.
  5. The Marian Morning Stars (Sunday School) are celebrating Parents, Grandparents and Vianney Day on Sunday 9th August, with a special programme at 11:00 am in the College Hall. Entry coupons will be available at the Parish office and with the Sunday school teachers @ Rs. 200/- per person. All are invited.
  6. Marian FAM in collaboration with the Sports Committee is organising ‘Baarish Hungama 2026’ on 15th August from 10:30 am onwards on the church ground. For further details contact the Marian FAM members at the church porch.
  7. The next Pre-Baptism Course will be held on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th August. Couples expecting a child in the next six months, kindly register your names in the Parish Office by Saturday, 22nd August.
  8. The newly renovated Mini Hall, located near KMD is now open for bookings. Associations, Cells and Communities can have their meetings here. The hall can accommodate a maximum of 30 people only. Please contact the Parish Office for bookings.
  9. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.74,712 /-.
