18th January to 25th January – Christian Unity Week
- Novena in preparation for the Parish Feast will commence from Friday, 23rd January to Saturday, 31st January. The Novena schedule is put up on the Notice Board. The Parish Feast Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 1st February at the 9:30 AM.
- Announcements for Marian Family Nites 2026: :
- Inviting all creative parishioners with an artistic temperament to participate in the Drawing and Colouring competition as part of our celebration of Marian Family Nites 2026. Register soon and showcase your talent, imagination and love for art.
- We invite the children of our Parish up to 10 years of age as on 28th January 2026, to take part in the Parish Fancy Dress Competition. Children, here is an opportunity to unleash your creativity and step into a Biblical character from the Old Testament. Rules, regulations and Registration details for both the above-mentioned competitions are displayed on the Church Notice board.
- Entry bands for the ‘Marian Family Nites 2026’ on Saturday 31st January and Sunday 01st February, will be available for Rs. 50/- (for both days) at the church porch, in the Parish Office and with the SCC Coordinators.
- As part of the Marian Parish Feast celebrations, the Sports Committee is organising the Zonal Line Box Cricket Tournament and Girls & Women’s Throwball Tournament, on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th January, on the Church Ground. We congratulate the winners of the Football, Carrom and Chess competitions. All parishioners are requested to come in large numbers to cheer your Zonal Teams and support the Parish Community.
- The Marian Youth Group of our Parish will be organising ‘Breakfast Sunday’ on 25th January after all morning Masses. If any parishioner would like to donate in any way, please contact Fr. Amol.
- Sunday of the Word of God will be celebrated on 25th January. We will have the re-commissioning of the Ministers of the Word (Bible Cell) and Liturgy Committee Members at the 9.30 am Mass. All parishioners are requested to carry their Bible for Mass. All Bibles will be blessed.
- The next Pre-Baptism course will be held on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th February. Couples expecting a child in the next six months, kindly register your names in the Parish Office by 16th February.
- In view of the recent robberies taking place in the church premises, parishioners are requested, while dropping your contribution, please check that the cash is properly dropped in the Cash Collection Boxes. Thank you for your cooperation on this.
- Parishioners can use the church lofts for seating on Saturday evening and Sundays for all Masses.
- ‘Samman Creation’ run by the Salesian Sisters of Uttan will be putting up a stall of Handicraft items on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January near the Calvary Cross area. Please patronise their stalls.
- Youth United for Christ (YU4C) Mumbai, the youth wing of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites all youth to its annual event Milestone 2026, on 26th January, at Birla Auditorium, Churchgate. For details refer to the Parish Notice Board.
- Last Sunday’s Collection amounted to Rs.79,361/-
God bless you for your generosity. - The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity also known as the Unity Octave will be observed from18 – 25 January , 2026. The Prayer for Christian Unity for the Central Suburbs Deanery will be held on 24th January 2026 at 7:30pm in St. Anthony Church, Vakola. Parishioners are encouraged to participate in the Prayer Service.
