ANNOUNCEMENTS
18-Oct Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist
- On Sunday 13th October, as part of the ‘Rosary Across India’ crusade, we will commemorate the Feast of Our Lady of Rosary. We invite all our parishioners to join in the Rosary to be prayed in Church at 6:00pm, followed by Mass at 6:30pm. After Mass the statue of Our Lady will be carried around the parish in a candle light procession. Please come with your families and bring a candle with you.
- The members of Christian Life Community (CLC) are offering a Thanksgiving Mass in honour of Our Lady of Fatima on 14th October at 5:00 pm in Konkani.
- The next Pre-Baptism course will be held on 17th and 18th October. Couples expecting a child in the next six months, kindly register your names in the Parish Office by 14th October.
- 20th October is celebrated as Mission Sunday. On this occasion, the PPC Members will have a box collection on Saturday, 19th Oct after the 7 PM Mass and on Sunday, 20th Oct after all Masses. This collection will be sent to the Archdiocese of Bombay.
There will also be a sale of homemade items by the tribals of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Mahad. Please patronise their stalls, which will offer homemade items such as pickles, turmeric powder and other food products including natural herbal products. The proceeds from their sales will be utilised towards their Missions. - God’s Word Bible Diary 2025 will available at a subsidised amount of Rs. 200/- per copy, in the Parish Office.
- Parishioners are urged to avail of the ongoing Medical Camp being held at Kripa Medical Dispensary from 7th October to 25th October, for Dental, Eye, General and Blood Test. For further details please refer to the hand bills being distributed at the church gate.
- There will be a movie screening for youth aged 15 to 25 years in the Community Hall on Saturday, 26th October. All youth are encouraged to register with the MYG Desk at the church porch.
- Vacation for the Sunday School begins on 21st October to 09th November. Sunday School will begin on Sunday, 10th November with Mass at 8:15 AM.
- OCWF Collection for the month of September amounted to Rs. 3,30,110/-
Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 79,417/-. God bless you for your generosity.
