3rd April, 2025 – Palm Sunday of The Passion of the Lord

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. On Palm Sunday, 13th April, palms will be blessed on the Church grounds at 8:00am followed by procession to the Church. Veronica’s Singing and sermon in Marathi will be held at St. Roque. The procession to St. Roque will start at 5 pm from the church. The procession will come back to the church but there will be no veneration. The 6:30 pm Mass will be in English.
  2. Our Parish will hold its Annual Blood Donation Drive on Sunday, 13th April from 8:00am to 1:00pm in the KG Section of St. Mary’s High School. Kindly refer to the banners displayed in the Church premises for further details.
  3. The Holy week Services will be held on the Church grounds. The service timings will be as follows:

    17th April – Maundy Thursday First Service at 6:00pm & Second service at 8:00pm
    18th April – Good Friday First Service at 5:30pm & Second service at 7:30pm
    19th April – Easter Vigil service at 8:00pm. Parishioners are requested to carry candles for the Easter Vigil service.
    On Easter Sunday 20th April, there will be no evening Mass.

  4. Holy Water bottles will be distributed to all families of the Parish. SCC Coordinators and Animators will be in-charge of the distribution.
  5. On Friday 18th April, the Outdoor way of the Cross organised by the Marian Youth group will begin at 7:00 am from the church gate.
  6. Novena in honour of Divine Mercy begins on Friday 18th April, at 2:45pm in the Church. Feast of Divine Mercy is on Sunday, 27th April. Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 9:30 am. Holy hour will be conducted at 2:30 pm in the church.
  7. Parish Office will be closed from 17th to 21st April for the Holy Week preparations.
  8. The Holiday schedule for Masses begins from Monday, 21st April to Sunday, 15th June (both days inclusive). All Masses will be in English. The Mass timings will be as follows:
    Weekdays 7:30 am and 7:00 pm
    Sundays 7 am, 8:15 am, 9:30 am and 6:30 pm
  9. We thank our Parishioners for their active and generous participation in the OLEP ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVE. Our grateful thanks to the team of volunteers who helped with the sorting and sale of the items received. The ‘GIVE AND RECEIVE PROJECT’ was a great success. The total amount generated from the sale of donated goods amounted to Rs. 2,38,000/-. This amount will be used for purchasing an eco-friendly machine for the Parish to recycle plastic, paper, tetra packs etc.
  10. “Milestone 2025” – a mega musical youth gathering to celebrate the canonisation of Blessed Carlo Acutis will be held on Saturday 26th April, 2025, from 5pm to 10pm at Holy Cross School grounds, Kurla. For further details and registrations, contact the youth at the church porch or refer to the notice board.
  11. OCWF Collection for the month of March-2025 amounted to Rs. 3,86,663/-.
    Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 84,824/-. God bless you all for your generosity.

    The Marian Youth Group is organizing a Summer Camp for children in the aged 7 to 15 from 28th April to 10th May. MYG volunteers will be available for registration at the Church porch.
