ANNOUNCEMENTS

8th April – Solemnity of The Annunciation of the Lord

1. The Parish Fathers would like to thank all our parishioners:
   a. For attendance during Lent and the Holy Week
   b. For generous contributions in cash

   c. For sweets and Easter eggs.

2. On Sunday, 7th April, the 9:30 am Mass will be a Thanksgiving Mass in Honour of Divine Mercy. Holy Hour will be conducted at 2:30pm in the church.
3. Enrolment forms for Confirmation (June 2024 – March 2025) will be available in the Parish Office from 8th April to 13th April 2024.  Forms have to be returned by 20th April 2024.  Forms will be given to the students who attended Sunday School regularly in Standard 9.
4. The Holiday schedule for Masses begins from Monday, 15th April to Sunday, 16th June (both days inclusive). All Masses will be in English. The Mass timings will be as follows:

   Weekdays 7:30 am and 7:00 pm
   Sundays 7 am, 8:15 am, 9:30 am and 6:30 pm

5. Fr. Rui Comelo will be on Annual leave from 15th April to 15th May both days inclusive. Fr. Joshua D’souza will be acting Parish Priest during this period.
6. As a precautionary measure considering the thefts that are happening in the church premises, the cemetery will be closed from 12:30 pm to 3:30pm and 8pm to 6am. Parishioners are requested not to force the watchman to open the gate during the above-mentioned timings.
7. Parish Office will be closed on 09th April on account of Public Holiday.
8. OCWF envelopes for the Month of April will be distributed today. Please drop your envelopes duly filled with all details in the box marked “OLEP Community Welfare Fund”
9. Holy Week collection is as follows:

   Maundy Thursday Rs. 86,513/-
   Good Friday Rs. 2,22,637/- (As Announced at the Good Friday Services, this collection is sent to the Archbishop’s House)
   Easter Vigil Rs. 1,17,526/-
   Easter Sunday Rs.1,13,742/-
