ANNOUNCEMENTS
- On All Souls Day, 02nd November, we request everyone to use flowers & biodegradable wrappings, as a sign of our love for the departed loved ones. Please avoid the use of green floral foam (Oasis) or any non-biodegradable materials in bouquets and floral arrangements. These materials are harmful to the environment and do not decompose. Your cooperation and understanding in supporting the environment is deeply appreciated.
- 07th November is the First Friday of the month. Holy Half Hour will be conducted at 6:30 pm by Zone II, followed by Mass at 7 p.m.
- Sunday School will re-open on Sunday, 09th November and Confirmation classes will resume from Sunday, 16th November. We urge all children to be present for Mass at 8.15 am followed by class as usual.
- Family Cell of our parish has organised a session for parents and teachers on the topic, “Building Early Literacy Foundation – Empowering Parents and Teachers” on Sunday, 16th November immediately after the 9:30 am Mass, in the Community Hall from 10:30 am to 12:15pm. Limited seats are available for which registrations can be made in the Parish Office by 12th November. Registration fee Rs. 30 per person.
- The Online Portal for Marian Kindergarten, Kalina, for Nursery and Junior K.G. Admissions 2026-2027 will be open from 1st November to 30th November 2025.
Children born between 1st July 2022 to 31st December 2023 (both days inclusive) are eligible for Admission in Nursery.
Children born between 1st July 2021 to 31st December 2022 (both days inclusive) are eligible for Admission in Junior K.G.
Kindly refer to the Church or K.G. Notice Board for further details. - Our Parish Feast, Marian Family Nites 2026, will be celebrated on Sunday, 01st February. The Parish Feast theme is ‘One Bread, One Body, Jesus in Everybody’. We invite all parishioners to participate in designing the Logo for the Parish Feast, based on the Parish Feast theme. All participants are requested to submit their designs via the Google Form link which is shared with the Coordinators on Whatsapp. Those unable to do so can send their entries to the Parish Email address – kalinaourladyofegypt@gmail.com
Last date for submitting entries is 09th November by 12:30pm.
Kindly look up the Notice Board for details regarding the competition. - We thank all our parishioners for supporting the Parish Mission Sunday initiatives generously.
a. The food product stalls set up on 11th & 12th October, by Centre for Social Action collected an amount of Rs. 1,17,000/- which will support the livelihood of the Raigad tribals.
b. Mission Sunday Special collection on 19th October amounted to Rs. 1,38,921/- which is sent to the Archdiocese of Bombay.
c. The stalls set up by Asha Handicrafts on 25th & 26th October collected an amount of Rs. 18,550/- which will support the livelihood of the artisans across India. - OCWF Envelopes for the Month of November will be distributed today. Please drop your envelopes duly filled with all details, in the box marked “OLEP Community Welfare Fund”
- Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 72,348/-. God bless you all for your generosity.
- The Marian Youth Group of our parish is organising a morning of fun, laughter and celebration for all Sunday School children and their parents on Sunday, November 9th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the College Hall. There will be a variety of game stalls and food stalls for everyone to enjoy. All parents and students are invited for this event.
- Parish Office will be closed on Wednesday, 05th and Thursday, 6th November.
