Feast of Our Lady of Assumption Celebration 15th August 2025

On behalf of the Ladies Sodality Association, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Cliffy, for always being there to guide and support us. This year, Fr. Cliffy also encouraged our Youth to perform a beautiful prayer dance, which added to the joy and solemnity of the occasion.

Our celebration began with nine days of Novena prayers, followed by the Triduum Masses on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of August. We were blessed with a very good response and attendance from our members throughout this spiritual preparation.

The Feast Day Mass was a truly special occasion. It was heartwarming to see both our senior and younger members coming together in devotion. Some of our members graced the day in traditional attire, which added to the festive spirit and beauty of the celebration.

This year, we were delighted to welcome six new members into our lively Sodality group—even though most of us are senior citizens, our spirit remains youthful and strong. After Mass, Rev. Fr. Cliffy led the consecration of the new members, making the moment even more meaningful.

The evening celebration was a resounding success. In fact, some members joyfully remarked that it was “as grand as a wedding celebration”.  The unity, participation, and enthusiasm of our members truly made this year’s feast unforgettable.

We would also like to place on record our sincere appreciation and thanks to all our donors and sponsors, who came forward so willingly to support us. Through your generosity, not only were we able to celebrate our Feast in a grand manner, but we could also reach out and help some of our members in need.
