Deacon Jewlyn Fialho served Our Lady of Egypt Church Kalina through his Diaconate Ministry from June 2024 to February 2025.
While many parishioners were always appreciative of his homilies and guidance while discharging many pastoral duties; many members of our cells, associations and Small Christian Communities owe a huge gratitude to him for his dedicated and devoted service. This was visible on 23rd February at the 9.30 am Mass where Deacon Jewlyn was felicitated in appreciation for his service.
The Marian Youth Group shared what inspiration they drew from him and gifted him a picture collage of beautiful memories of the various events they worked on and also presented him with a crocheted floral bouquet. The Lectors expressed their gratitude with a beautiful card and a spiritual bouquet of 110 Masses, 115 Rosaries, 60 Chaplets, 45 visits to the blessed sacrament and 5 acts of charity. The CLC team did not miss the opportunity to present a card and floral bouquet in appreciation.
Parish Priest, Fr. John Lopes thanked Deacon Jewlyn on behalf of the entire parish team and extended to him a warm welcome to Kalina always and wished him blessings in preparation for his ordination and priestly ministry.
