Twenty- Third Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A
- The Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows will be commemorated on Sunday, 13th September at the 6.30 pm Mass, after which there will be a short procession around the church. The statue of Our Lady of Sorrows will be available for veneration in the church from Sunday 13th Sept till Tuesday 15th Sept.
- The Rose of Sharon Prayer Group is organising a one-day retreat for our parishioners on Monday, 14th September from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For registration kindly contact the Rose of Sharon Prayer Group Members at the church porch. The registration fee for the retreat is Rs.100/-.
- The Catholic Church joins all Christians in the celebration of the Season of Creation, which has begun on 1st September and will end on 04th October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of Ecology. The theme for this year is ‘Living Water’. The 9:30AM Mass on 20th September will be celebrated as the Mass for Care of Creation. An Eco Activity, to pledge our commitment towards creation will be announced in the coming weeks.
- In the month of October, the statue of Our Lady goes around the parish – house to house. All Coordinators who want to take the statue are requested to collect the forms from the Parish Office.
- The Conference Room located near the Chapel is now open for bookings. Associations, Cells and Communities can have their meetings here. The hall can accommodate a maximum of 30 people only. Please contact the Parish Office for bookings.
- Parishioners are urged to avail of the ongoing Medical Camp at Kripa Medical Dispensary ending on Friday, 11th September.
- The Parish office will be closed on Tuesday, 8th September.
- OCWF Envelopes for the month of September will be distributed today. Please drop your envelopes duly filled with all details, in the box marked “OLEP Community Welfare Fund”
- Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.78,572/-. God bless you all for your generosity.
