ANNOUNCEMENTS

Twenty- Second Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A

  1. Announcements for the feast of the “Nativity of Our Blessed Virgin Mary”:
    • Novena begins from Sunday, 30th August to 7th September. Novena Mass will be at 7 pm on weekdays and at 8:15 am on Sunday. The Novena themes and offering details are displayed on the Church Notice Board. Parents are requested to encourage their children to attend the Novena.
    • The centre wing of the Church will be reserved for children only. Kindly cooperate.
    • Parishioners can voluntarily offer items as per the list put up on the Notice Board. All are requested to place the offerings before or after Mass only.
    • Parishioners interested in sponsoring sweets to be distributed to children during the
    Novena days can contact Fr. Amol or the Parish Office.
  2. 04th September is First Friday of the month. Holy Half Hour will be conducted by Zone II at 6:30 pm, followed by Mass at 7 pm.
  3. The MARIAN FAM, in collaboration with YU4C, cordially invites all parish youth to 3G – Gospel Games Gathering on Friday, 4th September, starting at 7.45 pm in the College Hall. Come join us for an engaging evening of Gospel – Based – games, fellowship and fun. For more details, please visit the Registration Desk at the church porch or contact Fr. Cliffy Fernandes.
  4. Our Parish will be organising the Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica on Saturday, 12th September. The procession will begin at 4:30 am from the church. Mass will be celebrated at the Mount Mary Basilica at 7:30 AM. Parishioners intending to participate please register in the Parish Office by Wednesday, 9th September.
  5. The Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows will be commemorated on Sunday, 13th September at the 6.30 pm Mass, after which there will be a short procession around the church. The statue of Our Lady of Sorrows will be available for veneration in the church from Sunday 13th September till Tuesday 15th September.
  6. The Bombay Archdiocese Senior Citizen Association (BASCA) has organised a Mass for the Sick and Elderly on Monday, 14th September at 10:30am at Mount Mary Basilica, Bandra. The OLEP Goldies Senior Citizen Association has arranged a bus leaving at 8:30am from our church. The charge is Rs. 200/- per head. Those interested please register at the Church Office.
  7. The Rose of Sharon Prayer Group is organising a one-day retreat for our parishioners on Monday, 14th September from 9 am to 5 pm. For registration kindly contact the Rose of Sharon Prayer Group Members at the church porch. The registration fee for the retreat is Rs.100/-.
  8. The Parish Bible Cell is organising Bible Quiz for children aged 10 to 16, on Sunday, 25th October 2026. For registration and further details visit the registration desk at the Church porch after all Masses.
  9. Kripa Medical Dispensary is holding a Medical Camp from 24th August to 11th September from 8 am to 4 pm for Dental, Eye, General and Blood Test. Kindly refer to the handbills being distributed at the Church gate. Parishioners are urged to avail of these special facilities.
  10. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs. 86,913/-. God bless you all for your generosity.
