ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The Parish Feast Mass will be con-celebrated on Sunday, 1st February at 9:30 AM.
    Fr. Gilbert D’lima will be the Main celebrant. Kindly note that there will be no evening Mass.
  2. On the joyful occasion of our Parish Feast, the Parish Fathers and Religious Sisters wish all our parishioners a very Happy Feast. May Our Lady of Egypt bless each of you and your families abundantly.
  3. There will be no Sunday School on 1st February. Parents are urged to send their children for the 8:15 Children Mass.
  4. Monday, 02nd February, is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord and also celebrated as the Day of Consecrated life. Parishioners are encouraged to attend the service near the Tank area at 6:50pm. Candles will be blessed and distributed thereafter, followed by procession to the church for Mass at 7pm. All Religious Sisters of our Parish will be felicitated at the 7pm Mass.
  5. Tuesday, 3rd February, is the Feast of St. Blaise. Throats will be blessed after all Masses.
  6. The Bible Cell is arranging sessions on “The Passion Narrative according to St. John” starting from Tuesday, 3rd February on every Tuesday at 7:30pm in the school classroom. Parishioners are encouraged to attend.
  7. 06th February is the First Friday of the month. Holy Half Hour will be conducted by Zone IV A at 6:30 pm followed by Mass at 7 pm.
  8. Family Cell invites all married couples celebrating their wedding anniversaries from November to February, to renew their Marriage Vows at the 9.30 am Mass on Sunday, 8th February.
  9. A special Holy Childhood collection will be made next Sunday, 8th February at all Masses. This collection will be sent to the Archbishop’s House.
  10. 11th February is THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES. It is a day dedicated to the sick. A special Mass for the sick and the homebound will be held on Wednesday, 11th February at 10:00 AM. Confessions will be held at 9:00 AM in the church. Zonal coordinators, animators and parishioners are requested to help in getting the sick, disabled and homebound to the Church and take them back home after Mass.
  11. On Sunday, 15th February, the Sacrament of First Holy Communion will be administered in our parish at the 11:00 am Mass. All parishioners are welcome to attend and pray for the children.
  12. Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Archbishop John Rodrigues at the 5:30 pm Mass, on Saturday, 28th February.
  13. Parish Office will be closed on Sunday, 01st February.
  14. Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.77,209 /-. God bless you for your generosity.
